First U/S, Measuring a Week Smaller than Expected

 was expecting to be 7 weeks pregnant but the technician said the baby is measuring 5 weeks, 6 days. The doctor didn't seem terribly concerned and said I likely just ovulated late. I'm surprised and nervous because I'm really, very regular. And, because I love wine! Before I got pregnant, I would have wine with dinner every night. Anyone else run into this?

As long as they could find a HB you should be fine. (And at 5 wks - even if they couldn't it's still pretty early). I'm pretty regular too - but I ended up ovulating early.

As for the booze - I had my fair share at the holidays, and it definitely totalled more than a glass of wine with dinner. I was concerned about it too (I found out at 5 weeks), but my doctor shrugged it off and said that they don't get much from us at that point anyway, so don't worry about it. You'll be fine. I think almost every woman I have ever known has a story about how they've been drunk, or drank, at least once before they knew they were pregnant.

At this point, it's also likely your measurements are going to shift back and forth. I think I had 4 different "due dates" based on measurements in my first trimester with my first baby. They varied by about 10 days. And wouldn't worry about drinking that early in pregnancy. As others have said, that's super-common.
