traveling--short distance by car

I'm traveling with my hubby and my little girl for about an hour by car. Were going to stay in a hotel for one night. Any advice or suggestions on what to do/not to do and must bring/not bother bringing?

DD is...
14 wks old (bit over 3 mos)
Starting to teethe
Formula fed

    A small fan or noise machine incase it is noisy. We have been in some hotels where for some reason people are stomping around, slamming doors at all hours of the night.
