Grandma update

MRI results came back last night. Her stroke was in her brain stem and the entire left side of her brain has shut down. She was living off the machines and that's not what she would want at all. They've taken her off and moved her into comfort care. It's only a matter of days. My mom is still in Denver and doesn't plan on leaving. Once she passes, they'll have her cremated (as per her wishes) and my mom will bring her back home with her. My dad is flying out in the morning. It took some serious convincing. My mom kept telling him not to, but was only saying it because she didn't want to inconvenience him, that's just how she is.

I appreciate all your support during this tough time. You guys have been greater than you know. Looking at all those baby faces and chatting with you ladies has been a much needed distraction.

Thanks everyone. I just wish she wasn't so far away. I'm glad she crossed an item off her bucket list before this happened. And if she would've been home she would've been all alone. So I guess it's better this way.

My dad's plane just landed. I've spent the last few hours panicking because if God forbid something happened i wouldn't be able to live with myself. (I've got crazy anxiety like that, especially when it comes to flying). I'm glad he got there safely, my moms waiting for him to get his bags now. She sounds so relieved that he's there.
