trigger shot today, first IUI on monday

I haven't been around to much because of work and what not.

But after 1 1/2 years of trying, 4 cycles on fermara and lots and lots of charting and OPK's. We are finally heading down the IUI route.

So I have to trigger tonight at 9pm and then we have an IUI scheduled for MOnday.

I am really nervous about the trigger shot. I don't like needles at all.

Anyone have any advice?

Is the trigger sub-q or IM? Either way they are really NBD, it seems scary (esp if it's IM, because the needle seems huge) but I barely ever felt them, they are so quick- and if it's sub-q, it's nothing, really. You'll be fine!

Good luck with the IUI, try to relax, don't stress, and I know it's much easier said than done, but try to have your IUI done, and don't think about it after that. Just keep yourself busy with other things, otherwise you will be driving yourself crazy with all the "What ifs"

Trigger shot done. Not so bad. I did have a breakdown in tears right before though. Just frustrated at the whole situation and frustrated that we are here.
