Success after IF

False Labor

Since 4pm yesterday my contractions picked up from 6-10 min to every 5 min. I stayed home since they were manageable. Then at 2:30 am they stopped. Wth? Did any of you experience this?

This is new to me since I didnt have contractions with DS1 and my water just broke with him.

Re: False Labor

  • I did this for 5 weeks. They'd be super regular and I'd have as many as 10 in an hour. Then, they'd stop. I once asked my OB how to tell the difference. She said, "well, the biggest clue will be that labor doesn't stop and the babies will come out." Helpful! I was so thankful my water broke!

  • That is frustrating. My Bradley classes said to change what you are doing and if it is Braxton hicks they should stop. So if you are out running around, get home and rest. Take a shower, and eat/drink something. If it is real, the contractions should keep going.

    Good luck!!
