Monitor Broke.. Suggestions for a new one

AHH!! We had the Motorola Wireless video monitor and the speaker just blew! I would gladly go get the same one brand new except I keep reading the speaker is a common issue. Does anyone have suggestions for a great video monitor? My husband literally has had the things apart for 4 hours and even went and bought a soldering gun trying to fix the dang thing!

My husband said unfortunately with everything he has done to it trying to get it to work.. we wouldn't be able to send it in. I don't know if it would matter much since I believe most places send you one without receiving the broken one first, or these may be rare occurances I have heard of.

I just dealt with Motorola's customer service because our camera stopped panning up and down. Basically with minimal questions that sent a new one and the asked for the old one to be mailed back. They sent me one with 2 cameras instead of one.

If you end up getting a new brand, we have a summer infant digital and love it.

That was me! It took them about a month for them to send us a replacement. But a $25 audio one and use them both until the replacement get in. Good luck!
