CD & Daycare routine help? TIA!

So starting CD is a little overwhelming but I am excited. How do you manage the CD at daycare?

Do you take the CD home every night via the wet bag?

How many CD do you provide for the daycare per week if they are there full time M-F 8-5p (Mon Tues Wed=30 (10/day) possible diaper changes then do a wash and replace for Thurs Friday)?

Then you also need the home diapers so do I need like 40-50 diapers total because of daycare?

I am trying to figure out how this works since with #1 I used disposable diapers and we just gave daycare a big pack and they let us know when they were almost out.

When DS started daycare, we were using prefolds. We had 36, so it was easy enough to leave a big stack and then just bring more every day or so. Now we use only pockets and I usually send 6 a day. It will just depend on how many diapers they go through during the day. I think 10 is a good starting point. You could also send 10 on Monday and then just replace how ever many they use, etc. I found that to be too much counting, lol. I don't know how many pockets I have, but you definitely don't need 40-50.

We put the clean diapers in his school bag and they unpack them when they need them. We send a large PlanetWise wet bag and bring it home every night. I spray the diapers that need it when I get home and just add it to our diaper pail.

Similar to PP. we started out sending 8 Monday, then replacing however many they used the next day so she always had 8 there at a time. We brought home the wetbag each day. Now we only send 5 a day (she's 1.5) and still bring them home daily. We only had 24 when we started, and did just fine with that number. She started DC at 12 weeks.

I took diapers back and forth every day. I started by sending like ten, then however many I brought home dirty I would send that many in next time.

DD3 goes to a babysitter twice a week. I send 4-5 diapers, a wet bag, and wipes every day and bring them home every night. I then empty (and unstuff) the diapers from the wet bag to my home diaper pail. I wash every other day as usual.
