DH having Surgery Again

So, the results of the urologist appt. are in...DH will have vericocele repair surgery again. We have been fighting about when he should/can have it. He would have liked to wait until the school year is over or nearly over. I pointed out that if we have the surgery in May and it takes about 6 months to see if it helped, we would be in November by then and nearly at the end of our IF coverage (we will no longer have coverage after this year).

So he was looking for a date in April and kept fretting over it fitting into his schedule. He asked for my input and I told him that what I had to say would not be helpful. He insisted he wanted to know. So I said if you hadn't waited to take the damned Clomid for 2 months you could have already had the surgery when you weren't so busy at school. I warned him.

So our current plan is surgery and then back to IUI as soon as the urologist gives us the go ahead after surgery. I'll update when we finally have a surgery date. Trying to schedule it around the week before Easter.

I hate when guys put stuff off and it makes everything else go to the wire. I hope he realized it was his delay and it could have been prevented. this just means in early fall you are setting up all the dominoes so you are all ready to go ASAP Nov cycle right?

Absolutely, sooner if the urologist says it is worth it.

Not to freak you out bc you prob already know this but there is like 30% chance it could worsen numbers and all, are you going to freeze a sample to be safe? We did that, hubs didn't get worse TG but we had that back up and insurance if you will

We can't afford to freeze a sample and insurance won't cover it. So like last time we will hope for the best. Thanks for the concern.
