XP: Hiccups and Pgal brain

So my LO (31 weeks) has hiccups at least once a day (sometimes 3 times).  I read online that this could be an indication of a cord issue, but I've also read that it can be normal.  Does anyone else experience this?

Normal and it is probably happening even more often than you feel it.  They get hiccups a lot

Perfectly normal.  DS used to get them multiple times per day when I was pregnant and then even after he was born he got them very frequently.  Now, DD gets them at least once per day too.

I always thought it was normal, but it's interesting that you say that though bc my DD had the cord wrapped around her neck at birth and had hiccups. I don't know if there is a correlation though?

Thanks everyone!  I know the idea that it could be the cord seems so crazy so that's why I wanted to see if it was normal for other people.  :)
