Hey ladies! It has been a whirlwind week and to top it all off, I went to my appointment with DH yesterday, where we were told we didn't have an appointment! We weren't on the schedule and our file hadn't been sent over from the main office. I was so upset that we weren't going to be able to see our little monsters, THEN the receptionist starts treating me like an idiot because she is convinced I'm wrong and I never scheduled a follow-up appointment. So I ran out to my car and grabbed the appointment card that I had left in there (thank God!). She was all "ohhhh you doooo have a card!" uh, yeah moron, I told you that. So pissed. So we have to reschedule... boo

So we are at 12 weeks, rocking along and the bump is definitely here to stay!

QOTW: We told family and close friends right away because they knew we were going through treatments. We were going to start telling other people yesterday, but I guess we will wait until after our newly scheduled apt!

Hi all!! I don't have much to report. I'm 5w2d and just watching the days slooowly tick by until my u/s April 10th. Still spotting from the progesterone supps, and found out the lovely Rhogam shots will start next Friday if it's still happening then. Honestly, the spotting (when it's brown) doesn't bother me that much, so I secretly hope I have to go in for Rhogam and they'll decide to do the u/s earlier :!!

QOTW: All of our immediate family knew we were going through treatments, so it wasn't a huge surprise. Everyone is excited, but more cautious this time around because of my loss last August. I think the real excitement will kick in after the u/s.

Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF

@tippytoes06 - can you fix my name in the check in?  It is spelled wrong so I am not getting notifications.  Thanks!

Doctor estimated my due date as 11/14/14.  Little bean is measuring 6w4d so a little behind what the doctor thought I should be (6w7d).  I had a blood clot this week which was very scary (alot of bright red blood) so I had two ultrasounds this week to make sure everything is ok.  Go back on Tuesday for my next ultrasound.

Time to finally join this party.

EDD is 11/2, so 8w5d. We have been doing weekly ultrasounds since week 6 due to two prior losses. Next one is Monday and then our first OB appointment is a week from now. We have one bean.

I get to stop Estrace tomorrow and switch from PIO to Prometrium capsules 3x a day (not orally).

QOTW: I have told my mom and BFF at 8 weeks when we passed our loss milestone (6-7 weeks). Have not told my IL yet because they are traveling and we would not want to have to untell.

Hey I'd like to join in!  I'm 6w2d, and my EDD is 11/19/2014.  I have my first appointment with my midwife next week, so hoping that she will either do an ultrasound or listen for HB - that will make this all feel a little more real!

We are waiting until around Mother's Day since we are planning on seeing family over that weekend and I'd like to tell them in person.  I bought a shirt for DS that says "Best Big Brother" on it, so we're going to show up with DS in that and see how people react.  My guess is general confusion, since they might think we're going to adopt again right away... we'll see!  (I did this to tell MH and he was really confused for a few minutes at first) It would be nice to have an ultrasound picture by then too.

    Hello Ladies!
Not a whole lot to report. We have our first appt with the OB next thursday!! Can't wait to see Little Bean again and hear a heartbeat. I'm going to be telling the people I work with the following tuesday which is good because it's getting harder to hide the little bump I have :)

QOTW: No one in our families knew we were TTC or going through treatments so it was a big shock when we told them! They all freaked out it was great! I've never seen my mother-in-law cry so hard.

    Have an awesome weekend everyone!

I think I'm ready to join you ladies in the first tri :-) I wasn't sure if I should wait until my first ultrasound, but I had a strong second beta and am really excited! Hope this is OK.

My first US is scheduled for next Tuesday (and once a week for the next three weeks after that). Hoping we'll be able to see how many beans we have in there, but know we won't be able to see much more.

QOTW: I texted pics of my pregnancy test to my mom, sister and cousin (the people I'm closest to and know we've been doing treatments) and I tweeted the pic after I got my beta (since I've been open on Twitter about our IF). DH called his mom (she knew about the treatments as well).

I wanted to wait until the end of the first tri to announce to general friends and family (i.e. Facebook), but I'd really like to do it during IF awareness week (I'll be about nine weeks).

Before I announce there, I need to tell my dad (since his wife is on Facebook). We're not that close (I haven't told him we were even trying), but I would rather tell him in person. Unfortunately, they spend their winters in Arizona. If they come back in time, I'm thinking about giving him his annual belated birthday present and card and signing it with the news that he's going to be a grandpa. Otherwise it'll just have to be over the phone.

*edit* - Sorry, i forgot to put due date on here. My EDD with a singleton would be Nov. 28.

Hi Ladies! I'd like to be added to the first tri as well.

    EDD: 11/12/2014
    Two beans

Had my weekly visit with the RE this morning. They both measured 12 mm (they grew 9 mm in a week - holy cow!) and I got to see their heartbeats both at 148. The u/s tech said 'they are acting very twin like'. If all goes well next week, then I graduate to the OB. I'll be sad to see my weekly appointments go away I kinda of like the comfort of knowing each week what is going on. But looking forward to moving to the next level, which might make it same more real.

QOTW: Only 2 friends know - they knew about our IF treatments so it was hard keeping it a secret from them. We are going home for Easter and will tell my parents (this will be their 1st and 2nd grandchild), the following weekend we will visit DH parents and tell them. We've already gotten them both a picture frame for an u/s picture - so we will give it to them as their gift. Then we will slowly start to let people know.

Happy Friday, Ladies!  I'm still so psyched to be here with you all!

Our first U/S was yesterday where we seen 2 little spuds! Everything looked good and we're set up for weekly appointments until the 11 week mark!

QOTD - We've told our parents, as they were the only ones besides my BFF that knew about our IF treatments... All 5 people who know are ecstatic!! Our moms cried, our dads tried to act tough, and my BFF is all s&!ts and giggles!

@IntuitiveBlue - we are just going with our 40w EDD based on our dates/transfer day, with the knowledge that we'll actually probably end up having our babies about a month or so earlier than that.

    My Checkin:

    Hello All -
Not much to report today.  We're 9w2d with Twins via partner IVF.   I've had the cold from Hell for the past week, so it's overwhelming any and all pregnancy symptoms I have had.     Otherwise I'm doing pretty good, we're starting to prepare and talk about what we're going to need to do before we have babies -- which is nice to get on.

I'm slowly growing.   I am in low-belly maternity pants at work these days, I have a couple of regular pairs that still fit but I haven't been in my jeans for weeks now.

QOTW: We have told our immediate families - who are both THRILLED.   These are the first grandchildren for both sides.   There is so much excitement for these babies.  My mom keeps thanking me for growing her grandbabies ;)

Hi everyone!  I'm a little confused/worried today and could use some feedback, if anyone has any.  I had my first OB appointment on Wed, 8w1d based on my ovulation/IUI dates and my first US.  I was measuring about 8w1d, right on target (based on pelvic exam and brief US).  But my OB referred me to a radiology office for a more in-depth US today to get precise measurements and a due date.  However, today (2 days later!), she measured me at 9w5d!  Which is definitely impossible.  I assume that the OB US on Wed was off by a few days, and today's US was on a better machine which can account for some of the difference, but that's more than a week off.  So now I'm worried about why the baby is measuring so big.  Has this happened to anyone else, is it a reason to worry?  The heart rate was 180-something too, wow.  I'm attaching a picture :)

QOTW- We haven't told any family or friends yet and we won't until I hit 14 weeks.  Un-telling everyone last time was too much, so we decided to wait this time until we're sure.  No special plans, but we'd like to tell parents in person.

@Manada totally forgot that there is stuff to report! At our 9w ultrasound we got to see both of them move! So cool (and an important milestone). Twin A was measuring 8w6d with a hb of 182 and twin b was measuring 8w5d with a hb of 180.
We go back at 11w for the next ultrasound.
    ****loss discussed*****

We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.

    Our IUIs
with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.

IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response

    IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014

2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.

Hi ladies! I'm 5w5d today. I had my 3rd beta this morning and it came back at 16,879 :) Feeling good about our strong numbers! Our first U/S is next Friday the 4th. If all is well with the U/S, we will be released to my OB!

QOTW: We told our families, close friends, and a few co-workers right away (they knew about our treatments). The reactions have been amazing! Everyone is genuinely so happy for us. We will wait until either Mother's Day, or DH's birthday (early June) to tell everyone else.

@Andrea2380 We are very close to due date buddies - Congrats! Your furbabies are adorable, BTW.

It's twin girls!! Born on 11-2-14!

Hi everyone! 12w today with twins. Nothing new to report.. Still nauseated all the time, still want to sleep all the time.. I'm surviving but it's definitely not been easy! I'm so jealous of women with no symptoms! I keep telling myself that this is how I know they're healthy and growing, but yeesh... Some relief is welcome! :)

We came out on Facebook with a cute pic of our dog. The responses were great. Our families have known since beta, so they were really happy to no longer have to keep this secret. I also told work and that went well too! Good news spreads fast.

Hi everybody!! I'm 9 weeks 4 days this week. I got released from my fertility office this past Tuesday, and we got to see our little one moving all around on the ultrasound until the baby decided that enough pictures had been taken so the baby curled up in a little ball after we he had heard the wonderful heartbeat. Our first obgyn prenatal appointment will be April 9th. QOTW: We told all of our family first then our close friends they were so supportive during everything, I plan on telling my co-workers as well as announcing it on Facebook after our first obgyn appointment on April 9th. *(Can I be updated to having one bean)*

    TTC since 2012

Attempted IUI #2 (Menopur injections only cycle) better response on the Menopur then the Follistim combination treatment cycle however my cycle was still canceled due to my eggs not maturing and follicles not growing enough on a high dose of Menopur (Re said I could try a cycle of comid + ovidrel  for an IUI) for my second IUI( praying this works for us)

Clomid + Ovidrel protocol worked still a BFN as a result

Attempted cycle  Clomid  + Ovidrel protocol for IUI # 3 (Unable to do this cycle due to a cyst)

Can't believe these are my final days on 1st tri board! QOTW: we told our families immediately. Since we've been trying for over two years, we were met with screams and tears of joy :) I think my mom may have been more excited than we were lol

Hey everyone! We are 10 weeks 3days. I stopped progesterone this week. So far so good. I had to increase my thyroid meds again. All seems to be good otherwise.

    QOTW:
Our immediacy families were thrilled. My mom & sister cried (sister is due 4weeks ahead of me). They were supportive during our 4years of battling IF. We told them right away. Our extended families found out at 8 weeks and they were excited as well.
Me: 33 - PCOS & Hypothyroidism DH: 35 - SA is good Married since 2010 (together since 2006) TTC since June 2009 (we knew we would have issues and wanted family right away after we got married). No pregnancies yet. May 2013 - started first round of Chlomid & ovidrel cycle.

    Hi Ladies!

I am 9 weeks today!  We had our 2nd u/s last week at 8w3d & the baby was measuring 8w4d with a hb of 179 bpm.  My ovaries are finally getting back to normal & I have lost 6 lbs. since my appt 2 weeks ago.  I could actually wear jeans over the weekend but could not get into my work pants this morning.  Good thing I bought my first belly band this weekend!  We only have 2 more appts with our RE then we will be graduating to the OB!  I was also given a date of 4/15 to stop Crinone!  Yay!

QOTW:  We have only told our parents.  We ordered onesies from Etsy & my MIL's said "Guess What" & my mom's said "I was worth the wait."  My mom was the only one that knew we did IVF but my MIL knew we were having fertility issues.  They were both very emotional & excited-especially my mom that knows exactly how hard the infertility battle was for us.

    Hey Ladies,
I guess I'm the first December Due Date :)  According to the calendars I find online my due date would be Dec 2nd.  I'm not really sure how far along I am.  My retrieval was March 12 and transfer was March 15th.  My first Ultrasound is April 7th MONDAY!  My RE wanted it April 11 but my OBGYN wanted it the 7th.  I'm not arguing if I get in there earlier :)  Hopefully they see everything they need to see.

QOTD:  We told the people who knew we were doing IVF.  I was out of state for 3 weeks so a lot more people knew.  DH mom still doesn't know.  We aren't close to her so I'm not sure when he will want to tell her.  I guess after the ultrasound.

Just realized I never checked in! It's been crazy around here lately. I'm currently 8w5d. I had another ultrasound appointment this morning and everything is looking great. Baby is measuring right on track! My RE gave me a prescription for Zofran for my morning sickness. I've lost 7lbs since my last appointment two weeks ago :( She wasn't happy about that at all, of course neither was I, but I really don't want to take any medicine.

QOTW - We have told our immediate family (parents, siblings and grandparents on my side). DH's grandparents all have extremely loud mouths, so we decided to wait to tell them until right before we announce to everyone. Everyone has been super happy for us so far. They all knew we were going through treatments (just not the nitty gritty details, so we were able to keep it a secret until after our first ultrasound).

@tippytoes06 can you add me to the roster buddy ? lol

currently 8 weeks 4 days-we had our ultrasound on tuesday, baby is measuring great, heartbeat of 174, RE gave me zofran but insurance wouldn't pay for it, that sucks. lol Walgreens pharmacist found a way of filling 1/2 of it for 10$ instead of $221 for the full dose.

    NOV 8TH DUE DATE

QOTW: i had to have emergency surgery on my gallbladder when i was 7 weeks, and there was a risk of losing the baby, we told my side-that visited me in the hospital before and after surgery bc i felt like it would come out anyway. . ALL HAPPY RESPONSES, we told DH parents the saturday before my birthday--we wrapped a baby proofing kit, and when they opened it, we told them to get started. MY MIL FREAKED> first baby on that side in over 20 years. .

Currently 12w1d! Told my family and got mixed reaction about having twins. I guess that's par for the course, but still disappointing. I have my big ultrasound next week and after that we will tell friends. We had an ultrasound last week to check on my SCH, which had completely dissipated, which is a relief.

Still feeling tired all the time, but less nausea. Just read Dr. Luke's book and so trying to eat as much protein and dairy as possible! Just starting to wear maternity pants, but really I need new tops for these huge boobs!

Hi everyone! I'm at 11 weeks. I had a great ultrasound last week - heartbeat was 178 and baby was measuring on track. I was also so relieved that my blood clot (SCH) has resolved and is no longer there - yeah! I had been so worried about that!
We have only told a couple of people our news. We plan to tell our families on Easter Sunday. I bought a shirt for Jeffrey that says " l am being promoted to big brother" - I am going to change him into that and hope they notice!
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
