Wow! Babies had a five hour stretch between feeds! Not asleep the whole time, but it means I got nearly 4 consecutive hours of sleep!! I feel awesome, and now I'm going to see if I can get a couple more before DS1 wakes up…
@Laura8388@kare_bear_12@aturl Add me to the stinky husband club. He, too, was supposed to stop before the baby came. Then the baby came early and he was going to stop on his birthday, 2 weeks after J was born. He also was supposed to not smoke in his car, ever since he bought it in the summer. But since he is working two hours away he's been doing that too. It's really frustrating, especially since I've never been a smoker, so I'm all logical about it and it doesn't work that way.
Hi guys! This is my first night bumping since LO arrived. It's our second night home, and I'm not sure how to get her to sleep at night! She's sleeping on me right now, in the recliner. Hopefully she'll feed again before too long, then I'll attempt the basinet again. We'll see...
Do you guys put LO down right after feeding, or hold them until they're already asleep?
Hang in there! Basically for the first month LO slept on my chest. And we still do for half the night. But i always wait until she is passed out to put her down. Otherwise she wakes up and have to go through it again.
Oh and my H quit cold turkey the day she was born. Has been doing the electronic. But we will see if he is going to keep it up now that everyone has left and its just us again. I may be joining y'alls club!
