Finally had some good news

The last 3 weeks have been super stressful after finding out I have severe hydronephrosis (swelling) in both my kidneys. I have had 3 renal US and 3 appointments with the urologist and every time I heard the same thing "it is getting worse but we will check you again in a week". Meanwhile, this all happened during a 3 week period where I didn't see my OB because I was doing so well. I went to see the high risk OB with the practice to see how this all effects baby. This is the first time I left an appointment feeling good. He is very glad I didn't have the stents put in as he thinks they cause more trouble than good. He said I shouldn't have any issues going to full term which was a concern with the urologist. He actually used the words "I'm not concerned" and he has seen it before. The urologist had me terrified after telling me he only put stents in 1 pregnant woman who went into labor and the baby had a bad outcome. I still have to get weekly blood work to check my kidney function so I am still not out of the woods, but as long as the blood work is ok, I'm good to go. Just wanted to share some good news :-)
