Car Seat Toys?

For those who have switched to a convertible car seat, how do you keep your LO's entertained? Are there toys you have found that can clip somewhere? I looked online and didn't really see anything. She used to love the toys that hung on her bucket seat handle. If I give her toys, she drops them within 2 minutes and then just sits back there. Any tips?

I use these straps that snap on two ends to attach the toys to his harness. I love them! I use them to attach toys to the stroller and to his high chair cover too.



ETA I found them at Walmart in the baby section. But when I googled them to grab a picture, I found them at overstock.com also.

He usually has a rattle or plush toy in his carseat. Between that and the mirror and looking out the window, he seems to stay pretty content. (At red lights, I also reach back and "honk" his nose... that keeps him occupied, too. haha)

I just give her toys she can hold. Sometimes they end up thrown overboard, but for the most part she does ok.

She's never had anything other than her Wubbanub and she's always been fine.

I'll find a toy I can slip onto the strap so she can't drop it. 

I know she's fine...she doesn't cry or anything. I just feel kinda bad because she liked her other toys so much and now she just stares at the back of the seat. Our seat is really reclined so she can't see out the window.

My LO loves to take his leap frog scout laptop. I don't attach it to anything and he has yet to drop it.

I use the same straps as @makeupgeek‌ for everywhere--the car seat, the diaper bag, the strollers, restaurant high chairs. I love not having to pick toys up all the time.

There is also an Etsy shop that sells Sophie straps, and those help with toys that aren't ring dependent.

I usually give mine a small toy...like a stuffed animal or duck and I also bought this mirror about 2 months ago...she loves it!

I give mine a few toys and sometimes he chucks them across the car (he's not satisfied with just dropping them, they have to go to the other side). If he chucks his toys, he has his socks. Trying to take his socks off and then eating them are the best entertainment for him.

She has a plush toy that she is happy with. One of the the Taggies toys, it keeps her entertained, and she has never thrown or dropped it. We live far away from most places, so she usually spends most car rides sleeping.

Annabelle has toys in the car (dolls and such) that she plays with.  I also give her my wrap/ring sling I am using for the day as a blanket and she will play peek-a-boo with it.  She also likes to grunt, babble, and talk to us or her toys.  Looking out the window is another.
