I think both Lee and Lyss would be cute NNs, and not too feminine, although a Ulysses being called Lee for short strikes me as kind of hilarious due to the Ulysses S. Grant/Robert E. Lee connections. I would never use it myself, but I would be ecstatic to see it on another person's kid.

I think it would be okay as a middle name, but I would never be able to do is as a first name, personally. I wouldn't side-eye it though. So much better than Aiden, Tristan, Bentley, or so many other popular names.
I think it's way too much as a first time. It's not a bad name, just not one I would ever want to give to a baby/person. I envisioned reading it on my FB feed and I just can't get behind it...

**RATE A NAME HERE!**
It is a bit grand but I do like it. I would be surprised to see it but I think it would be a good surprise.
It's not my favorite name, but I once had a student named Ulysses, so my association is positive.
For the record, I have no problem with "big" names on little babies. I say go for it if you both love it enough.
It's too big to be practical. I like it, though.

Aw thank you! I guess my next question would be if Abram and Ulysses sound good, or cheesy?

I thought of Lyss and like it better, but I was worried it was too feminine?

Lol, I mean that Shaquille sounds for all the world like a (made up) girl's name. And yet:
LOL! That's what my husband was saying this morning when I mentioned Lyss. I think he liked it as a potential nn.
