I know a few people were looking at the chicco next fit car seat. Target has a great deal right now on them.

To add to that, our Sunday paper had a $20 off coupon for $100+ spent on baby gear for Target. Sweet deal!

You have to use that coupon and then print off the 20% off coupon combine those, plus chicco items are 20% this week. Which brings the price down to about $159. The link explains it and has links to all the coupons.

FYI, Chicco is coming out with a new version of the nextfit where the seat cover zips off to wash. I know it is a bit more expensive than this model, but just letting anyone that might be interested in easy cleaning know

If you have a longer baby you may want to look for a seat with bigger height restrictions.  I just checked it out and DS1 who is 2 is very close to the 50 inch limit.

ETA:  He also weighs 37lbs and the weight limit is 40lbs.

I thought it was actually good for extended rear facing? On car seats for the littles she has her 5 year old in the seat and he still fits the height limit but is over the 40lb rear facing limit...the weight limit is 65lbs overall I believe and 50"

I also called ahead like @wedding06 and it took me 4 stores to finally get one. They didn't accept both the $20 off and the 20% coupons, but it still ended up being a good deal. Thanks @barista411!

Yeah you can't use it online.  Not sure why they didn't take both coupons for you @tikiroom.  I got mine yesterday (2 of them actually).  Paid 161 and change each.

Also the evenflo triumph is on sale on target online only for 97. Free shipping. I went to target and put LO in the Chicco and triumph and liked the triumph better! So I'm ordering it ( : can't wait to get it!

We bought one yesterday and with all both the coupons and the 20% already taken of the seat at the register AND with using my red card, I saved 48%! Luckily we have a ton of targets near us because a bunch of them were sold out!

We went to buy buy baby and they honored it! I printed the shopping cart page from target.com that showed 20% off (for the $239.99 sale price) then printed the other 2 coupons. I love a good deal!!
