We're still TTC, but love talking names. I've recently taken Magnolia off the GP/Pet list and added it to the real possibilities list for a future DD. It was on the GP list because I am not a fan of the NN Maggie. I went to high school with an AWFUL girl named Maggie and have a terrible name association now, but am slowly convincing myself that if we just tell everyone not to call her Maggie, it will be okay.

Having a hard time thinking of middle names that go with Magnolia though. Finding that a lot of names we like also end in A (Tallulah, Matilda, Amelia, Wilhelmina, Ramona, etc) and even more are nature names (Olive, Violet, Juniper, Willow, Ivy, Clementine, etc) or are one syllable and sound strange with our one syllable last name (Jane, etc).
We are all over the place on tastes. I tend to like old lady names, and nature names. Not a fan of filler names (Grace, Anne) and definitely want something out of the Top 100 (Or Top 1000, haha!) Nothing trendy or super popular, and am open to unisex type names, but have found very few that I like. Because our last name is one of the most common last names in the US, we like names that are unique (So not Sophia, Olivia)
I love Magnolia Jane, but with our one syllable last name, it's weird.
Ideas?
(Edited for spelling.)

I don't like a nature name as a middle name for Magnolia. Magnolia Ivy sounds like a new type of house plant.
How about...
Magnolia Eleanor
Magnolia Alice
Magnolia Ruby
Magnolia Nell
Magnolia Pearl
Magnolia Gail
Magnolia Wyn
Magnolia Blake
