My cycles have been between 25 and 28 days for the past year or so. I am trying to hold out to the 28th day before POAS to not waste tests. Just curious how much patience you all have when choosing what day to POAS.
I used to POAS obsessively. The cheapie wondfo's I got on Amazon made it feel guiltless. But now I just wait it out.
Go get the wondfo's on Amazon. They come in a pack w/ OPK strips. Something like 30 OPK's and 20 preg. The only issue is that they are dye strips, so you have to catch your pee then dip.
Good luck!

Are you charting? I test based on how long it's been since I ovulated, not on when I expect my period. I usually start testing at ~10 dpo. Then again, I do waste a lot of tests .

I wait till 13 days after ovulation and I've gotten my period that day for the past 4 months that I've been temping so I haven't had to waste a test. If I don't get my period this Sunday I will test. It's hard to wait but I manage.
TTC#1 since Aug 2013, I'm 37, DH 41.

I'm very sensitive to diet (gluten, avoid processed foods) and environment. Have a history of inflammation and tendinitis before going off gluten in 2009.
July 2014 - RE Visit #1: Eggs look good, Endometrioma on R ovary, HSG showed blocked R tube close to ovary. DH SA normal
DX: Endometriosis probably the IF cause and gunking up tubes. Since egg reserve is high, RE says I can wait a couple months and then get laproscopic surgery to remove endo & clear tube. If that doesn't help then move to IVF.
Dec 2014 - Saw new RE - does not recommend surgery on tube as it isn't likely to help. Doubts I have endometriosis. My endometrioma shrunk to neglible size (yay!)
