Damn it! A downside to cloth!

I broke my finger today and as a result my whole hand is splinted. DH is away and I can't easily stuff pockets or fold prefolds. Why must life be so hard!?! (First world problem rant over) Still not using sposies though; I'll take 2 hours stuffing pockets if I have to. I've made it this far never having to bundle up and drive to the store at night, I refuse to start now.

Maybe I can find a cloth store with AIOs who can overnight. Reasonable? I have none in my stash...

Can you trifold prefolds in a cover?

Work accident involving a dog bite. I'm a veterinary technician. I can trifold but snaps are even hard. I find the elastic in my sweat pea covers makes them super "springy"(?) like they recoil a lot if you dont hold them in place where my alvas lay pretty flat...if that makes sense...

Remember that if you have natural fiber inserts or prefolds, you can just lay them on top of the pocket and use it as a cover. Sorry for your injury, I hope it heals soon!

I stuffed enough for 2 days of daycare and just lay my natural fibers in my pockets like the always wise ITK suggested. Stuffing 6 pockets took just under 1 hour, but I have a new appreciation for my knees and elbows.

Have you got a kid in your neighborhood whom you could hire to be a helper a few afternoons a week until YH gets back? I imagine there are going to be a few chores that take quite a bit longer with one usable hand.

I wish I knew more of my immediate neighbors. I have a really high tolerance for pain but it's really intense right now. Ordering pizza tonight! Friday can't come fast enough
