Anxious after IUI

Nervous about appointment on Friday. Blood test to see if IUI worked this time! I have been very emotional and irritable. I have been smothering hubby, not wanting to leave his side (this is not my usual behavior). I have also been having insomnia and frequent urination. These are not typical s/sx of pregnancy. My boobs are not tender and no change in nipple coloration and no nausea here. I'm scared that this round of clomid, folistem, HGG injection, progesterone and for good measure Robitussin and Geritol, were all for nothing. OH and can't forget IUI. Infertility is a pain I wouldn't wish on anyone.

What scares me most is that we did IUI without any ovum to fertilize. 2 days prior to IUI, 4 mature follicles, one in left ovary, three in right. After IUI, ultrasound showed zero follicles and no fluid indicating the release of the ovum. The nurse said this was good and the ovum were released but I'm uneasy about it. It's like they vanished! Has anyone experienced this or have and info for me. Any info would be appreciated greatly!

I hate that TB has me as an ancient member. I'm only 35 and don't have children. I signed up when my nephew was conceived.

IUI's are no fun.  Those are some crazy hormones that go on with all those meds.  The HCG and progesterone of course mimic pregnancy symptoms so that is always a mind$%%.  I always tested before beta ( the day before and the morning of the beta)  I didn't like to get the phone call at work telling me I wasn't pregnant.
