Baby Girl Name

My husband is dead set on Spencer for a girl. I don't love it, but since it's a family name and his grandfather is now passed away I feel a little pressured to name her Spencer. SO.... I need a really girly middle name to go with it. Our first son is Oliver and our last name is one syllable and short.

Can you make Spencer the MN? You shouldn't have to use a name you don't love and you shouldn't be forced to put a boy name on a girl

I like it..just don't love it. But I could use it as a middle name, nothing seems to fit with it to me though.

I'm not sure how I feel about Spencer for a girl either. Although, Spencer isn't the most masculine boy's name - so that helps. I agree, you'll need a girly MN.

While I don't find Spencer an uber masculine name, I plain don't like it for a little girl. I like a lot of the suggestions you have been given with Spencer inthe MN spot.

I'm in the middle name boat. I don't like Spencer for a girl, but I also think it's odd to have 2 children who have names ending in -er.

I think Spencer would be a wonderful middle name and still honor your DH's grandfather. There are many beautiful suggestions here for FNs that fit nicely with it.
