I survived the weekend with my whole family in town for my brother's birthday. It was fun to see everyone, but I'm so glad to have things back to normal today.
Also, last night I nursed G before bed. Usually he either passes out while nursing or I unlatch him when I can tell he's starting to just play and then I'll run his back until he's calm enough I can put him in his crib. Last night he unlatached himself, pulled my shirt down, patted my chest and said "thank you" and then rolled over so I could rub his back. Melted my heart!
DS and the dog both cooperated this morning so that I could get them off to their respective carers without too much fuss. I then grabbed a breakfast sandwich and spent the morning checking things off my to-do list. AND since my shoulder has been killing me all weekend, I called up the massage clinic around the corner and they have an opening this afternoon! It's my last thing before I pick up DS.
The only other thing I need to get done today is sort through some photos to upload to DS's share site. I'm terrible at updating it. It's the proverbial monkey on my back.
DH was FaceTiming with his mom over the weekend, showing her our nursery that we just finished, and I heard him showing her allllllll of our cloth diapers and how they all work, and called them by their correct names. Swoon!!! 8->
I was crying in the closet yesterday because none of my clothes fit. E came into the closet, gave me a very concerned look, then came over and patted my back. It was so sweet!

Husband is back in town. Six month pictures are tomorrow and I have the cutest outfit for him to wear. I just made some asparagus babyfood for little man to try. Oh and my container lettuce is sprouting already. Today is a good day, now I need to get off the internet and go clean!
C is blowing raspberries. I was doing it to him on Friday and Saturday. Sunday during bath time I noticed he was doing it to me. I can't believe we was imitating me so quickly.
Oh and my husband got him to giggle. I mean really giggle. It was so cute.
NCDR, but we're moving quickly toward closing on our first house! We've been forever renters, so owning is exciting and scary all combined into one hot mess. And then packing and moving... that does not make me smile.
My in-laws came over to watch M so I can sleep. Turns out I can't sleep, but having the while bed to myself while I rest is awesome. (We bedshare because its the only way my little tyrant will let me get any sleep).

@Chichigo - I never could sleep when others came over to watch DS, either. I am just not a good daytime napper, even when I'm exhausted. My best bet was when Mom would stay the night with me and take DS after he woke up for his first bottle, usually around 5:00 AM. I could usually go back to sleep and get a couple hours more rest that way. Glad you are at least getting to enjoy the bed to yourself for a bit!
I'm taking a bubble bath while ds sleeps. And he slept from 8 to 10 this morning, so I napped then too!
I was going to ask how you're adjusting to your new and improved time at home, but it seems like you're doing just fine
It's going pretty well ds has a slight cold so he was up an extra time last night. So getting to sleep in was needed. And I had to have the talk with DH this weekend "I'm NOT your maid, I'm your wife!" I don't mind cleaning, but don't just throw your dirty clothes on the floor if the hamper isn't there. GO FIND THE HAMPER!
My daughter put herself down for a nap. I am shocked and kinda don't know what to do with myself. Her diaper is working overtime, but it is a rumparooz so I am not too worried.
M has developed an annoying habit while nursing where he pops on and off frequently. Tonight he decided to grab my nipple in Hus hand and pull it to his mouth. It hurt but was really funny!

I forgot to post mine yesterday. We've been trying to teach DS to answer, "What is your name?" Usually he will just repeat, "Name." Last week, something clicked and he connected the question to the way we end our prayers, so when I asked him what his name was, he said, "Jesus." I cracked up, so of course now he answers this way every time I ask him. Oh dear.
@unaveragejane Haha! Is his name even close to that? We have a few bible story books that E likes to read. She calls Jesus "Jeje." And she likes to yell at Him. She will point to the picture of baby Jesus, and say "No no Jeje!" I guess she's afraid baby Jesus is going to steal her toys. She has also started talking to the Jesus statue at church. "Hi Jeje, bye bye Jeje."

I got a wall storage unit for L's TTs and random inserts. It makes me smile to look at the pretty diapers.
Also, we got new pictures of L yesterday. He was super cute, friendly, and cooperative and it was a sunny day!
Edit: not my TTs...
Oh and my husband got him to giggle. I mean really giggle. It was so cute.
My mom let a toot rip in front of DS & he said, "Nana...you awight?!"
Or for me to warm and put over ice cream.

And DD kissing my belly. I'm not sure she understands, but it's still really cute!
