First Appointment

Hi Everyone,

I am going to be making my first appointment tomorrow.  I just found I was pregnant.  I usually get my care through BI.  I am very interested in natural birth and care up until birth.  Does anyone have any BI experience?

    I had an amazing experience at BI! Loved it and if I have a second I will be delivering there again.

    My OB is Dr. Brenda Baker from Boston OBGYN and I loved her. Although Dr. Michelle Lafornara did the delivery and she was wonderful. I had a planned c section due to the baby being breech and ended up going into labor on my own and having an emergency section. They were amazing during my labor and surgery prep- my Labor and Delivery nurse literally kept me together during contractions and made me feel so calm during the prep. I had awesome recovery nurses that were very helpful with breastfeeding and I never felt uncomfortable asking for help. I did have to watch my own pain meds and buzz on occasion for more meds but I think that's normal. 

    I also had a few hospital visits during my pregnancy and L & D never made me feel stupid for coming in and they were typically always quick. Although depending on the night those visits (if you need them) could take longer!
