Is anyone else overly sensitive latley?? I feel like crying over everything and I think I am driving my husband crazy!
@Prego305 Since you don't seem to come around here often - and even though I'm probably wasting my time since you rarely seem to come back to your own posts - you will find, every day, several group threads to discuss symptoms. This post would be a perfect addition to those threads (or, even, you could look through those threads and likely find other ladies reporting on this very same occurrence of being "overly sensitive" in a variety of ways). Luckily, snuff was kind enough to give you the links to those threads, so as to ensure you can easily find one place where everyone is discussing the various fun that happens to us during pregnancy.
@Prego305 I guess you really are not dealing well with your emotions - not quite sure why you felt the need to leave a comment on my wall. Sorry if my helpful advice hit some crazy nerve with you, but I wish you nothing but the best of health and luck for the rest of your pregnancy.
Say WHATTTT?? That's not overly sensitive, that's down right psycho-scary behavior.
Why do you have to have such an attitude, @chickpea912??
@Merie412 I don't know... I go to therapy, I talk with friends, I journal and try to channel my energy into projects. But I guess when it comes down to it, and my very inner core, I'm just........ too. fucking. nice. It's a real struggle for me - I try so hard to change my attitude, to be meaner, to snark in public and not default to caring about others and wanting to help them have a better day. It's been a problem ever since college, when I was quoted, during my freshman year, as saying "I wish I could be a bitch." Unfortunately, even with years of devoted work to this one aim, I still fall short. Just too damn nice. I guess I can't please everyone.
@Merie412 I should just take better notes from my teachers here on The Bump. I'm clearly not getting the transition in taking it from the theoretical into reality.
OP, take a deep breath and relax. I struggle with my emotions sometimes as well and it sucks. But then I realize that my situation isn't as bad as others, especially on this board. Find the silver lining and focus on it.
The ladies here weren't trying to be rude but directing you to a couple of threads that your post was perfect for.
Like any non-verbal form of communication, attitude and tone can easily be mistaken/misinterpreted.
@chickpea912 is very supportive and straight forward. In fact, Chickpea is probably one of my favorite Bumpies because she is straight forward and always has sage advice.
Can you imagine a board full of passive aggressive and vague posts and responses? Yes, sounds awful to me too.
Overly sensitive was a bit of an understatement. Sheesh. Chick, I thought we have discussed this...you are incapable of being mean. What the heck happened?
This makes me think of the episode of Friends where Brooke Shields thinks Joey is really Dr. Drake Ramoray, and they all pretend he is Drake's evil twin to convince her to go away, and they all air their grievances against him. "And you left the toilet seat up, you BASTARD!!"
Re: Overly Sensitive
Thanks, @katiebartton - I mean... I know I could have done better, but really now...

@prego305, you're definitely overly sensitive.

Dude, who snaps @chickpea912 ?!? Here's Damon and a puppy. I can't get any nicer than that. Enjoy and chill out.
I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
Speaking of Sky does anyone else think she's returned with a new name? There was someone in the name/sex thread recently who reminded me of her:-)
