Hi all,
We are first time parents and not very much experienced in baby care and pregnancy. Also not much friends and family near to help. Pre-pregnancy I saw a nurse just once in Women's care of Nashua for TTC but could not continue. That time we did not have much knowledge. When I fell pregnant, I looked online and started going with a doc affiliated with St Josephs. I did feel that doc is always in hurry and does not like to talk more than 2 minutes. She does not provide much information on her own unless I ask. I did not want to judge her from 1-2 visits so continued.
Even nurse attending to me works like robot. Just takes readings, no mention if everything is good. Of course If something is wrong they will speak. But its like no-human clinic, 'going to bank, talking to machines' ad.
She never asked me if i am eating well, working out or started feeling false labor. Did give me a big book in first visit with all that info.
I was not feeling kicks until very late and concerned. In U/S, from conversation with not feeling movements technician disclosed anterior placenta. Then doc got the report but did not speak about it until I asked if it is something to worry.
Sorry about ranting but I feel this is important for me.
My friends they all visited SNHMC doctors and had great experiences. I do not want to switch doc on an whim but we are worried not as we are nearing birth. Though i do not have any personal bonding with my doc yet. No one recognizes me in clinic so far. My visits are just once-a-month.
Please suggest if its alright to switch now to SNHMC at 25th week? OR If I am too much worried. Sometimes I do feel may be in later stages she comes out better and does some spectacular job.
If i have to switch, which ob-gyn is good in SNHMC.
Re: Which OB- GYN is good in the Southern Nashua area? And which Hospital?
