I saw some nice ones at PersonalCreations and Pottery Barn Kids, but boy, are they pricey! Any suggestions? I'd love to get one with LO's name on it, though I could "make do" with one that didn't
We use a Longaberger basket that each boy was gifted when they were babies. They just have plain, different color liners. I've seen Easter baskets on Zulily that are super cute...if they didn't already have theirs, I would probably go with one from Zulily.
I bought a Pottery Barn basket after looking everywhere for a white basket. It was way more than I wanted to spend, but I was fed up with looking everywhere. I ordered a monogrammed liner on Etsy.
I don't remember where on etsy I got it, but if you search for monogrammed easter basket liners, tons of results come up. It is actually too big for the basket I got, so I'm going to exchange it for the bigger basket at PBK, which is (of course) more expensive. I have spent more than I planned but it's the easter basket I plan for he to have until she goes to college! Lol.
We just have plain white easter baskets that I got on sale at a craft store - Michaels or AC Moore. We don't leave them out (like a stocking) for weeks before so I had no interest in an expensive one or personalized liner.
I looked at all the craft stores here and couldn't find a plain white basket, or even one I could spray paint. So frustrating!
I splurged last year on a pottery barn kids one. They run specials for free personalization occasionally or free shipping. I waited for a deal and went for it. I justified it because he will have it for many years.

Thanks guys!
LaurenAnthony, I'll have to keep my eye out for a deal. Great tip!
Just know that the PBK shipping for monogrammed items can get dicey. Lots of folks wait too long and don't get their item in time for the holiday/event.
I have had the opposite experience. I have ordered 10+ times from PBK and always have my order in less than a week (this includes mostly personalized items), usually it's only a few days .
We ordered DS's last year from https://personalizationmall.com They have them on sale right now for $30. We really like how it came out and will use it every year.

This is an odd thread to me because I see them everywhere! Grocery store, Target, craft stores, literally everywhere I go.
Everywhere has Easter baskets, but I looked at literally 10+ stores for a plain white easter basket, or even one that could be painted. No one had one big enough in round with a handle, which is what I was looking for to go with the liner I ordered on Etsy.

This exactly. I've always found their shipping to be really fast.
I always get them from PBK. The baskets are much better quality than those at craft stores. I wait until about a week before Easter when they go on sale.
I bought really pretty colored ones from Worldmarket.com. Apple green for DS and Lavender for DD. Then I ordered personalized basket liners from Etsy to match each basket and coordinate with each other. With all said and done, I got two baskets for the price of what one cost at PB. I also wanted to order from PB and couldn't justify spending that much. And after shopping around, I like what I ended up with WAY better.
my parents bought DD a pottery barn basket last year when she was born. however, growing up as kids, my mom used the same ones for us every year, very normal, just plain easter baskets. i saw some cute animal/bunny ones at target that I will probably buy (ill prob buy two different kinds so they match for a future child)
but i am not going to get them with names. you can always order after easter - they will be much cheaper!!! just a thought
