Baby's first story book

Dh and I have been really enjoying building LO's library.  I was thinking about packing the hospital bag and I would like to include one or two little story books to read while we're still at hospital, but I'm at a loss as to what his first story should be. I think it will be a sweet family bonding moment for DH, baby, and I to snuggle in bed that first night and to share a little story. There are so many great choices. Any thoughts or favorite books?

DD1 looooves it to this day. Sometimes I put the video of Samuel l Jackson reading it on and she will sit through the whole thing haha

Funny, I know EXACTLY what was M's first song that we played in the hospital, but I don't think we brought any books. I'll have to think about this. ("Instant Karma," by the Beatles, for inquiring minds)

I second this! I found it at Home Goods, had never heard of it before, read the whole book in the store and started crying.  Its so sweet:)
