Looking for a good RE

Hi there! Popping over from 3T. DH and I have an appointment March 31 to get a referral and go over DH's SA at our OBGYN's office.

I'm leaning towards Dr. Pearlstone, as he has excellent reviews and is covered by our insurance, but I'm open to any suggestions!

Has anyone had any experience with him?

If you went to an RE:

1) Who did you see and where do they practice?
2) How long was the wait list?
3) What was your experience like?

Re: Looking for a good RE

  • I am going to follow your post if you don't mind. Unless I happened to get KU in the next couple of months I will also be searching for an RE. So I'm curious what everyone has to say.

  • I've seen 2 RE's - Dr. Simckes (St. Peters) and Dr. Omurtag (Wash U).  I was not happy with Dr. Simckes but LOVED Wash U and Dr. Omurtag.  I also dealt with Dr. Cooper who is amazing as well.  Hope that helps.

  • I saw Dr. Witten at Mercy.  There was NO wait list.  He was great and all of the nurses on staff were amazing.  I would highly recommend him.
