How long after AF was expected did you get your BFP?

I'm still waiting, and waiting and waiting! I never miss a period, but it's been over a week since AF was expected and no sign of a BFP yet. I know with our first that it took a little while after my period was expected to get a BFP but the wait is driving me nuts!

So, I'm curious, how long after you expected your period did you get your BFP?

Do you temp? How are you determining when to expect AF? If you're not temping to confirm O, you may have just O'd later than expected causing you to be "late." As for me, I got a BFP before my expected AF date at 9DPO.

I don't temp. We weren't actively trying to get pregnant again, but I keep a track of my cycle so am roughly aware of when my fertile days are. I'm thinking that I did just O later than expected. I just don't like waiting

Sounds like you I'd later and your period isn't actually late yet.

I got mine 5 days before AF was expected. I temp, so I knew when I O'd.

I got mine the day before AF and wasn't temping and was shocked. I just wanted to suggest I you aren't doing this to get your tests at the dollar store. They'll be just as reliable and only a buck. good luck!

3 days before. But my last cycle was double the lenght of my usual one for the first time in my life. I just didn't O.

Negative test = Not pregnant.  You probably O'd late.

I got a negative the day of my missed period. My BFP was a week after that.

11DPO...3 days before my period was due. But I know when I O'd due to fertility treatments.

I agree that you probably ovulated later than you thought.  If you really are a week late, you should be getting a positive test by now if you are pregnant for sure.  I got mine 3 days before I expected my period (12DPO) the first time around, but 5 days after I expected it this time because I didn't really think it was possible with our fertility issues.

i took my first test about 4 days before expected AF and got a negative (or a VERY faint line, like squint really really really hard to see) then took another 3 days past expected AF and got a big bright positive line. good luck!

oh and after going to the dr, she pushed my due date back a week so I must have O'ed later than i thought as well.

The day before. I took one 3 days before and it was negative.

By 14 days after ovulation, there's very little chance that you wouldn't be able to turn a test positive if you're pregnant, so you almost definitely ovulated later than you think, which will push back your period (or positive test if you are pregnant).

I tested the day after I missed, but AF is very consistent with me so I knew something was up.

I wasn't temping, but used OPKs to predict ovulation.  I also have super-obvious mittelschmertz, so I was pretty sure when I ovulated.  I have a 10 day LP.  I tested every day from the day of my missed period to 14 DPO with Wondfo's, and didn't get a positive until 14 DPO.  On 14DPO, I tested with a FRER and got a clear positive.  The Wondfo gave me a very faint line.

I got my BFP they day after AF was supposed to arrive. It was the only time I've ever been late without any AF symptoms. It was a surreal experience.

I got a faint but noticeable positive on a home pregnancy test 6 days after my expected period. I took a test 5 days before I got a positive test (only 1 day after my missed period) and it was negative. The HGC could be too low to detect yet. Some woman get a positive test before their missed period, I didn't. And some it takes even longer to get a positive. Just depends on your body.

I'm 6 weeks today- I got 2 BFN's (day 2 of MP and day 4 of MP) an finally got a pale positive at 7 days after my MP! BFNs made me feel crazy, but it's been confirmed 2x now with my dr! In office test and blood test!
