How to sit on couch

So...after dinner I love to watch tv/movies on the couch. I am finding it to be less comfortable everyday. I found if I relax on my back with feet up, I am very uncomfortable. If I lie on my sides, they get sore later in the night when I am sleeping on them. What's a girl to do??

  • Does a pillow behind your lower back help?

  • I am totally with you on this... I even asked my husband if we could buy a new couch ... because being uncomfortable has nothing to do with being pregnant it has to be the couch :-) And our current couch isn't even 2 years old! Needless to say my husband shot down the new couch idea

  • I have to have a huge pillow behind me.  I can't sit on the couch very long at all.
I just head to the bedroom when DD goes down for the night.  I prop up in bed and watch tv, work, do school stuff ect.

  • If you find a solution, pass it around. The only way I'm comfortable is semi reclining in a lazy chair. We don't own a lazy boy though. So I'm pretty much miserable already.

I'm trying to find a way to sleep sitting up tonight and it's not working.

  • I do much better sitting in our glider with my feet up on the ottoman. It's reclined enough for me to relax but not so much that it bothers my back.
  • I thought there was something wrong with me because I can't sit on the couch comfortably, but I guess it's a normal thing. I usually have to sit on the recliner.
