QOTW- what is your most prized possession?

Tomorrow my friends from college are coming down and were going to a paint bar and staying in a hotel. I can't wait!!!! I need a night out and a night away, so so so badly!

QOTW- Molly gave me a right hand ring for Mothers Day. It's her birthstone and aside from being gorgeous, it holds an extra special place because of our IF struggles. I love it! (And I'm amazed at how well DH listened to me - I tol him a few weeks after she was Born how much I couldn't wait to get something with her birthstone!)

We are visiting a friend of DH's on Saturday to meet their new baby. We bought train tickets for Sunday to spend the day in San Diego. There is a neat children's museum a half mile from the station, so we are planning to do that, eat lunch, walk around and do some shopping. G is all about trains these days so I am really looking forward to it

QOTW: I have a necklace that my Mom gave me the day I had G. It has a shimmery star on it, for "rockstar". After an emergency c-section and the god awful magnesium, I really appreciated that gesture. She gave it to me with a sweet card that had wonderful, encouraging words. It means a lot to me. It reminds me of that day and how amazing it was.

@mdiblasi10 you guys seem to have so much fun!  G is so lucky to have such an awesome mom.

Tonight we are taking the new nanny out to dinner to sign the contract and celebrate!  Tomorrow, we are taking E to her first rodeo.  The rodeo here in H town is a super huge deal, a really elaborate affair.  So I'm excited to take her for the first time.  I can't wait to see what she thinks of the petting zoo.  She's either going to love it, or be terrified.  Haha.  Sunday hopefully we're getting some work done on the nursery.

QOTW: I think my most prized possession is my wedding ring.  I went through some pretty rough times before I met MH.  And to look at where my life has ended up because of him, I couldn't be luckier.  Everything I have, including my precious E, I have because of him.

My BIL and SIL are coming down tomorrow to go RV shopping so we're tagging along. Other than that, not much going on for us.

QOTW: my wedding rings and my origami.owl necklace are both on the same level to me. Wedding rings for obvious reasons and the necklace has charms in it representing H and our struggles.

Think it's going to be a quiet weekend for us.  We've had busy weekends nonstop for a while now, so it is nice to not have anything specifically planned.  Having said that, most likely will do grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, and the dreaded taxes...  (

ETA - but I do get to go to the ballet tonight, so that's something, right?

Hard to say my most prized possession... I would say all my photos.  They contain so many memories. I feel like other (material) things can be replaced but not my memories.

At the er with gma right now she is not feeling well and according to docs might be having an old person heart attack, I personally think they are wrong.
Tomorrow hopefully playing board games with a big group plus babies. Should be interesting playing dominion that way:)

Sunday starting a new job I'm not excited about leaving LO it makes me panic a little but once I am there it will be ok. DH better step up his game or I will ship LO to the grandparents.

We are all healthy and not sick. The weather is beautiful this weekend and I just want to enjoy it!

QOTW My prized possession are my Mimi's (my moms mother) diamond earrings they are small and nothing fancy but are so sentimental to me. I've worn them everyday since she passed. She passed when I was 8 years old. I have such a connection to her. When we cycled last time we saw several signs related to her and it worked . I still believe she held him first. Funny thing is those signs are happening again hoping its a sign for our cycle in April.

Tonight has just been running around and playing with LO. Tomorrow I have some errands to run, and then we are going to spend the evening with my BF and her DH and their LO who are in town. Our LOs are 6 mo apart but mine, the younger one, outweighs theirs by about 10lbs! She is a little peanut. Anyways, excited to spend time with them.

QOTW: I would say my wedding ring and possibly my baby blanket - There is still something super comforting about it still.

We took DS to Legoland and Sea Life this weekend to celebrate his 2nd birthday. QOTW: I would have to say my wedding ring because of all that it represents.
