Dear diary- I'm having a I know-you-work-hard-DH- moment- but you still have NO idea how much WORK I DO raising our son! Seriously- Mother's Day have better kick ass this year because I've earned it.

I love my son but seriously all I did was close the door to shit in peace and I come out to the dust from the vacuum canister (that I spent all the time vacuuming) dumped on the fucking floor.

Snow forecast Tuesday- I think I'm the only one still excited for it- but I've been in a snow deficit for my whole life. I really hate the summertime heat, but get three months of that crap- I'm due some nice snow w/o hearing everyone cry about it... Snowman.

@Iloveshanej I had to go to school on a Saturday from when I started. We never, ever, did anything, until about two months before an exam.

DD- I'm pretty sure this is not my month because, well, after 40ish months of failure you come to expect it. What makes me sad is that now I won't be getting a 2014 baby. I didn't get one in 2011, 2012, or 2013 either. And we tried for all of those years. So potato. 2015, here we come.

I hear ya!  In addition to missing 2014 this was also my last month to have a baby before I turn 35 and DS is 5 1/2.  I know it doesn't matter and there are plenty of ladies older than that on the board-I don't mean to offend-it was just a personal "time frame" of mine that I really never thought I would see pass by

Can my sweet boy PLEASE catch a break!  He has been SO SICK this winter and I can't take it anymore.  Cough/cold/fevers...now ear infection and antibiotics.  We are DONE with this winter and all its illnesses...

DD, 

It's past 7:00 and DH still isn't home.  He leaves for work at about 6:00 am and usually gets home around 4 (he's a teacher) but two days this week he had to work so late that he didn't get home till after 8:30/9 because of parent teacher conferences.  And today was a minimum day for him, but he went hiking with friends from work.  So, it's 7:00 on a Friday night and I'm really tired and want DH to get home already because as tired as he is from working super late, I'm tired from being one-on-one with DS all those long hours and I'm tired, too. 

Also, DS and I went to the zoo today with some friends and as much as I love them, one is a mom of three and the other has two outside and one on the way and I felt the sting of IF kinda bad today.  I want another baby so bad! I love my friends, though.  And their kids are fun, too.

Spilling into Saturday... DD- DH is pissed off this morning because our water obsessed child got ahold of a full bottle of contact solution and squirted all of it into DHs contact case which ran all over the bathroom counter. He came in while I was brushing my teeth, saw what was going on, threw the bottle in the tub, and bitched about expense. Um 1) when DS gets up early, wake me up. I am the deeper sleeper and while I appreciate that you hear DS first and deal with his early rising, I do not appreciate that you get irritated with me for being completely oblivious to what happens in our house at 5am. If you get up with him but don't keep an eye on him or go back to sleep while he runs around finding mischief, that's on you. 2) Put your contact solution away. 3) When DS does something he is not supposed to do, tell him. Don't get mad at me. Tell him what he did wrong and why it was wrong, in terms he can understand. He got awfully remorseful when I explained that the bottle of contact solution was worth 3 Cars toys at Target. That's how I got him to stop wasting shampoo in the tub.

Omg @annibes! I feel like I am CONSTANTLY arguing with H for the same shit. 

Why do men not grasp this concept: whatever you DO NOT want your toddlers playing with, must be REMOVED from toddler accessibility. ANDPLUSALSO when she gets into shit that YOU left out, what balls do you have getting pissed at her FOR BEING A FUCKING TODDLER. Her purpose in life is to seek and destroy everything in her path, you can't scream at her for being successful.

@Mrs Castillo‌ totally agreed. DH mostly "gets" DS but sometimes forgets that he has a four and a half year old brain with the social skills and behavior of a toddler- its just how he works. He just doesn't have the capacity to monitor himself yet. Yes, it sucks that we have been in toddler phase for 3+ years, but it is what it is.

@annibes my son is water obsessed too!! He wants to wash his hands for fun 9,000 times a day lol.

@KC1212 ugh yes. DS only washes his hands at appropriate times, but dammit if it doesn't take him like 10 minutes if I don't hurry him along! He likes to throw his toys in the kitchen sink and dog bowl, too. Fortunately the toilet stopped being a swimming pool for toys... And any container that squirts is fair game. I can't wait until summer when the pool opens. DS is such a water baby!

@annibes mine is too! Last year my h got annoyed with me because I let him play with the water hose (he didn't want it to jack our bill sky high) but damnit - he's a kid. He loved his pool,sprinkler, and I let him "water" the plants.
