So dh talked me into going to a class at babies r us tonight called "relaxation techniques for labor and delivery." I was hesitant to go because I was scared to even think of doing the birth without pain meds. Since we have known people that didn't get any relief from even an epidural, I decided it wouldn't hurt to go since the class was free. Well, I am so glad that we went! This lady teaching us was the most calming person I have met. She talked a lot about hypnobirthing and other ways to relax before and during labor. She really focused on staying calm and positive going into labor. I can't believe I can even say this but I'm not scared for the labor. I'm actually looking forward to using these new techniques to hopefully not need pain meds

sorry this is kind of long but I wanted to share with someone and who better than a ton of women who will be experiencing this all soon also?
