For example- I put shoes on before I kill house spiders because I'm afraid they're going to bite my feet.

Um. I think I've clearly and positively established that I am a walking irrational fear. But at least I can finally recognize it & make fun of myself. ;;)

I would never kill a spider myself. Unless, I managed to kill it by throwing something at it?? Who could kill a spider with bare feet anyway?? Who would want spider guts on their actual feet!?!?!

Germs! Haven't I mentioned to y'all how OCD I am about germs, I wipe the shopping carts down with wet wipes before I touch them, I put purell on about 89 thousand times per day.

Joe thinks it's hilarious, whenever I am holding a knife, or scissors, I always try to rush what I am doing because I am afraid I might accidentally poke out my eyeball..  :-q

I have to look in the shower if there is a tub with a curtain before using the restroom to make sure there isn't a machete wielding maniac in there. At my house and others.

This is exactly what I thought!  Do people actually do that?  I don't kill spiders with bare feet either.

If I watch a scary movie, I have to be touching DH because otherwise the crazies in the TV might get me. Even my feet on his lap works. Since we re-did the den with 2 rocker-recliners instead of a couch, I haven't watched many horror movies.

I only watch scary movies with the lights on. I also must be able to get up and leave if need to. I love the plot twists, but hate the suspense and gore.

Let me clarify- first I don't kill them myself unless I HAVE to. Second, I don't nor would I EVER step on it with my bare feet.

I should clarify that I usually put on shoes - and grab a frying pan! Lol!

@freakyfast‌ public showers creep me out. Germs and people always die in them in the movies!

I don't watch horror movies at all!  I felt really convicted when I was in college and was afraid to be home alone and realized it was because of my own choices to put scary things in my mind.  So, I stopped watching horror flicks.  But, every now and then I find myself watching something really suspenceful and I will mute it in a heartbeat.  If I don't here the music, it's way less scary.

LMFAO @ shoes AND a frying pan! I effing hate all kinds of bugs, centipedes are worse than spiders for me. Those fuckers are way too fast! By the time you see one, that shit is already hidden in your walls, threatening to crawl in your ears while you sleep  @-)

My dumbass babysitter let me watch arachnophobia at the age of 4 - so spiders terrify me.

Centipedes are the worst! Our exterminator told us they are carnivorous and eat small bugs and roach eggs so they are good to have around. Um, no thanks. That is even more of a reason to get rid of them! @Mrs Castillo
