Personalized gift & baby name change.....oops!

Ugh! This post will have no point, just a vent. DH and I decided on our girls' names a couple days after finding out we were having 2 girls. We agreed, told people, great! We decided on Ashtyn Leigh & Norah Grace. We'll, DH called me this morning to ask if I liked Finley. I was confused, this was the first he's mentioned a new name. He doesn't like Norah anymore. So I thought about it; maybe I don't either. I do, but I don't. Well, my supervisor is organizing a shower for me, so I thought I should let her know we're wavering. Of course, she bought personalized gifts, party favors and some sort of book either with their names or just written on the inside. I feel horrible. And I have to see her tomorrow (I work from home). Ugh! I had a shower with DS too after he was born as he arrived early, and nobody bought anything personalized for him. I didn't figure anyone would this time either. Ugh!

This happened to me but on a smaller scale. I was so sure we were naming my son Talin. But as his birth approached, I realized no one ever pronounced it correctly. And I really didn't like the mispronunciation. So, I went name searching again. Too late. A co worker had already made a toy box and painted Talin on it. Ds is Arlo. she was super understanding though and was able to laugh about it. Also, I was positive baby B would be Emmeline. Got a onsie with it screen printed on it. She's Penelope.
Just try to smile and laugh about it. People can't fault you- the babies arnt even born yet!
