I currently use the ergo and k'tan but am wanting to buy a wrap for all the different carries and convenience as far as throwing it in the diaper bag. I live in Texas so want something that isn't overly hot. And of course I want it to be pretty!!! I know nothing about wraps so I will have lots to learn and am slightly intimidated, but have the time to teach myself how to use it. Any suggestions?
I don't live in an overly warm climate. However, you'll want sonething breathable, thin, and easy to care for. I have a Girasol diamond weave and it's all cotton and reasonably thin. For a more supportive wrap I really love the Didy hemp indio I just got. It's so much thinner than my other hemp wrap. It's perfect for summer back carries.
