So I became intrigued by the Twinkie Tush diapers and started stalking the website and FB swap group this week. Well I looked yesterday and didn't see anything I wanted that badly so instead of checking the website when the sale went live my silly self put the baby to bed. Stupid, stupid, stupid one of the surprises was this adorable bibliophile pattern that was of course gone by 8 pm central. Now there are two prints I want and can't have   (

If I had any idea they would have had such a book centric pattern I would have let the baby jump longer and damn the cranky consequences

I didn't want to miss out, so I had DS2 propped on a pillow nursing, DS1 was running around the room naked because it was PJ time and we didn't have any PJs picked out yet.  

CDs definitely came first over parenting.  Although both boys were happy so I guess maybe I was being a good parent? Meh. I got my dipes.

You can always put an ISO post for it. I've noticed a lot of women on that page buy just to turn around and re sell. You get lucky!

I have a hard time catching the stockings (either at work or out to dinner or something) so I've just started joining all the custom groups. I'm actually searching for fabric now to start my own group!

And to be completely honest....I kind of want to buy a really old, crappy TT so I can take it apart and try to replicate ti at home (to use, not to sell). They're great, but they're not magic.

Bibliophilic is adorable- it's on my ISO list too!  I have a love/hate relationship with TT surprises.  I try to limit how many TT I buy, so if there is nothing I'm dying to have (which is usually the case because I have a boy) I usually don't wait for surprises.  But when I don't wait there are diapers that I love (like Scorcher and Bibliophilic last night).  

I have had a lot of luck on the "Fans of Twinkie Tush Cloth Diapers" group page.  It's pretty active with B/S/T and there's a monthly ISO list.  I've scored some diapers I love in every condition from NIP to VGUC.

I have both my loves on the ISO list but I am apparently not spending enough time glued to my phone to score one.

I was going to try to search for some OBF around here to make some soakers, but I doubt I'll get lucky because the fabric stores here in Ontario don't seem to carry things like this.  I don't know that I would be crafty enough to make a fitted, but it would be fun to try.

They look like any other fitted out there.  They use really good materials that make them pricier than others.  I wouldn't be surprised if it cost close to $15 to make one if you used all the same materials they do (for a simplify or a cheap knit print).

ETA: I think I high-balled it too much the first time.

In that case, I'd gladly spend $15 for the great materials. As is, I'm pretty much only ordering OBV in the TTs. I would like to eventually get a serger, but my regular machine can do turned, no problem. I hope, anyway.
