Mattress Flip

I know this may be early, but when do we flip his Baby/Toddler mattress to the toddler side? He is still in his crib and is 18 months old. TIA

I couldn't keep track of the difference on our organic mattress so we don't worry about it.

I switched keagans after he turned 1. Colby's doesn't have any differences between the two sides so I didn't worry about it.

I didn't know there was a difference. I flip every time i change the sheets so at least once a week.

I don't think ours has different sides either.  Not sure if I have ever flipped it, should I be doing this?

I never flipped ours either, but I'm not sure one side is different. I'm sure once they're 1, it's OK to change it, if yours has two distinct sides.

I think you're safe to flip to the plusher toddler side any time after your LO is a year old.  I didn't get around to it until she was 15 months or so, but it does seem like it would be more comfortable. 

Not all mattresses have infant/toddler sides- ours came labeled with stickers, but there was a noticeable difference in plushness between the two sides.

I keep meaning to flip mine to toddler as she seems to want more "cush" and I'm not worried about suffication or anything

I've flipped his mattress before but I never noticed it had 2 sides (toddler/infant). I'll check that today when I change his sheets. The kid is a peeing machine lately! Ugh!
