We've just started supplementing our 3 week old baby with formula and I'm wondering if I should change anything about how I wash her cloth diapers. She is still getting breast milk too. So far, I've just been washing them like normal (ie no rinsing beforehand, except for really poopy ones). Is this ok, or should formula fed diapers be rinsed?
The formula makes the diapers smell worse, but no change in wash routine. Hopefully bfing gets better! If that's what your goal is! (The first few weeks were the hardest!! But it does get significantly better with time.)
Also, I know you didn't ask for advice, but 3 weeks is the first huge growth spurt. If you are trying to keep bfing, then nurse, nurse, nurse. This is how baby tells your body to produce more milk.
