Any suggestions on things I should drink or eat or do to make sure this baby is cooperative. 2 am is his normal party time....so I am hoping he doesn't try and snooze through this!
I tried sugar and drank a Dr Pepper before I went and he wouldn't move his hands from in front of his face. She tried poking and having me move around and he still wouldn't cooperate. So she had me go walk around and drink a Sunkist (she said there was something about Sunkist that works) and when I came back, we were finally able to get some pics. Enjoy and I hope your baby cooperates!
I'm jealous! I wanted to get this done but we don't want to spend the money on it since I'm not working
My doc is doing mine as a standard third tri thingy. I'm sure there is some medically nesseccary reason and I was honestly surprised when she told me but I'm very happy we don't have to spend the money! Maybe see if you're having any more ultrasounds with your doc?
He did NOT cooperate. Basically stuck his head in the worse possible place where she had like zero shot and stayed there. No amount of OJ, jumping, poking or prodding moved him a centimeter!!!!
Some babies just don't cooperate. It took 3 ultrasounds to get a picture of baby's face for my anatomy scan- and even then she peeked out for a few seconds and then went back to hiding. We've had a bunch of ultrasounds but have never gotten a cute profile shot. We joke that she's just too shy to let us get a good look before she finishes baking.

I'll try again next week, but I was bummed.
We had an u/s on Tuesday and the baby had his hands in front of his face the entire time...we were in there for about 45 minutes and he never cooperated. Little stinkers!
We did ours last saturday and the baby crammed himself into a tight spot which gave us some pretty weird looking pictures to take home! I drank an apple juice 30 minutes before mine and while he moved a little, it wasn't enough for him to come out of hiding.
I had an uncooperative bub. The tech had me on my hands and knees on the table to try and get her to move. She had her hand up in front of her face the whole time and wouldn't shift it.
Don't worry if you don't get any good shots. You'll be meeting baby soon anyway!

My little guy did not cooperate either.....we tried everything but he too had his hands covering his face and his feet and the umbilical cord so it was pretty much doomed....we somehow managed to get a few shots of hit adorable nose and mouth but not much else....

Totally get the disappointment. I had mine last Friday she was snuggled up to close to my placenta AND had both arms in from she moved everything but her arms and when the tech poked her she's hit back. She just didn't want to cooperate she did show us her nose lol. Guess some babies are just like you have to wait till my debut haha
We tried twice with this one and she kept her feet in her face both times. We were only able to get a couple of halfway good pics. She only charged me half price thankfully.
