Hello lovely ladies - how is everyone doing? We have some positive news going on here!
We are all anxiously awaiting MrsC430's beta, we are keeping MrsMcIrish in our prayers as she goes through the dreaded 2ww, and we are keeping our Fx for greatfull&thankful as she starts her cycle and rlk2 with her receiving her calendar.

Waiting for our DE consult and second opinion on Friday. I'm trying not to even think about our next move until we hear all our options. Feeling impatient, I know we'll have to wait a couple months no matter what direction we take.

@sorrellam30‌ - I hope you have a good consult Friday and it brings you some clarity. I hate the waiting in between cycling more than anything. I'm hoping this is the last time you have to go through the waiting, no matter what you decide.

AFM - got our dates too! Our donor starts stims 4/4, retrieval the week of 4/14...so transfer should be right around Easter.
My nerves are most definitely setting in. I am focusing on jogging, exercising and losing a few lbs. before transfer.

AFM, I had a long, horrible struggle with my OBs office to schedule a D&C, and struggled with insurance and billing reps to find out costs of D&C. It was awful. My surgery was rescheduled THREE times. Then my body finally said FU and I passed the fetus and sac early Saturday morning. It was heartbreaking. Everything was intact and looked perfect, just the way it should have been, to me. I collected my "POC" and couldn't stop holding and stroking "her." We drove to the lab Sat afternoon to see if we can get any genetic answers from this loss. The lab worker was not hopeful, as she said she doubts she'll get a useable cell, since I collected from the toilet water. She said I probably contaminated it with bacteria. I apologized and said I did the best I could. I'm not sure what she expected... was I supposed to hover over a specimen cup for two weeks? Anyway, cramps started to ease after that. I passed the placenta Monday morning. I have an appt this Friday to ensure my body released everything on its own. We really don't have a plan to move forward. I think we're really hoping that somehow the lab work can tell us something. This has hit us very hard, as I think we both really started to believe it might be real. I feel stupid for letting my guard down. It won't happen again. If there ever is an again. I am almost 43, and am so very tired.

Oh Chucktgirl, how heartbreaking. I'm so sorry. A$$hole lab lady...you are so right about not letting your guard down. I know I never will if I ever get pg again. I see some of the naive things other people post and I get worried for them when they don't even know to worry. IF steals so much.

AFM: in addition to the 2WW, I had a job interview today. Fingers crossed as I have been unemployed for a long while and being home is no longer "good" for my well-being. I pulled in some favors for this job so hopefully the world will take pity on me and give it to me! I won't find out for a few weeks which is fine since its the 2WW.

Oh chucktgirl - my heart just broke reading your update. I'm so sorry - IF is bad enough, then you add a loss to that - the last thing you need is some effed up beeotch. I'm beyond words why you had to endure so much pain and then have to deal with stupid people to add to it.
I wish I could give you some big squishy hugs.

@chucktgirl‌ - I'm so sorry you had to go through that!! I wish your office/ insurance could have just done their freaking jobs so you didnt have to experience that. The whole thing is so awful, I can't even imagine.

I hope you get some answers from the testing. I'm sorry you even felt you had to apologize. You did the best you could in a horrible situation that you shouldn't have even had to go through.

AFM-  **** Not a real BFP and loss mentioned****

I'm spent. Can't really remember what I posted here lately but I was supposed to have a hysteroscopy last Friday for possible retained tissue except I came back with a BFP on a peestick. Bloodwork came back with a whopping 7.11 beta. When I followed up on Monday it had more than doubled to a 19, and despite me insisting that it was NOT a pregnancy the entire RE's office seems to believe it was/is and left me a voicemail about my "spontaneous pregnancy"....so when it went down to 16 today I got a "this is not a viable pregnancy" call. Um, yeah...not cool. How is it that I come in to get checked for possible retained tissue(which could cause issues with hcg) yet now all a sudden everyone thinks its more likely to be a pregnancy instead? WTF people, come on!!  So now, after three months of begging for someone to follow my hcg to zero.... they're following down to zero. I'm on a big fat hold until it does which , considering last week it doubled, I'm not too optimistic about that happening soon and feel like I'm delaying the inevitable 2nd D&C of my life from being done.

@MrsC, I'm so happy for your great beta! @Mrs.McIrish, I really do think that this is it for you, your St.Paddy's miracles. I know it is too hard to be hopeful, but I am pulling for you! @chuckt, I am so very sorry for your loss. That is heartbreaking. I am glad you didn't have to have to D&C, but your experience sounds heart-wrenching. I hope you can heal from this and get back on your feet soon. AFM, nothing much going on for IF. I want desperately to do egg banking with 3 Ivfs but we just don't have the money. May have to go DE route for better odds and I'm not in a hurry for that. I saw my gyn for a regular check up and she asked why I've never had a lap done. Got me thinking. I had one other RE via email say that I probably have endometriosis without symptoms and could possibly conceive on my own if they corrected it with a lap. Not sure what to do. Seems awful invasive for a shot in the dark. But could be the final piece of the puzzle. And we no longer have health insurance so it'd be oop. (Thanks obamacare)..

Huge hugs to everyone. I know I haven't been posting much, but I check in & think of you all all the time.

AFM, I'm scheduled for our csection tomorrow morning. I'm so excited to meet our babies, but the IF part of my brain isn't letting me believe this is real yet.

Thank you Rachel. @Sorrellam30- Does your RE do DE or are you going to a different clinic for that? @Km672- How many embryos do you hope to transfer. @chucktgirl- I am SO SORRY! I cannot believe that lab worker. She was so insensitive. I get what she was trying to say but my gosh, the way she went about it was incredibly rude. I totally get what you mean about letting your guard down. It's so cruel when we finally get pregnant and don't stay pregnant. @kflynn81-That is frustrating. I feel like through this process we learn so much about our bodies and we just know when something is really off. I hope you get down to zero soon. @geordie314- Are you doing a fresh cycle? @megs3084- How exciting. GL, I hope everything goes smoothly

@Grateful&Thankful‌ - we have decided it will most likely be a game day decision.

2 if its another 3dt. Ideally, we would hope to transfer 1 on day 5, but we have a low threshold for transferring 2. We will only transfer 1 if we will have a few to freeze. We don't have our 'cut off' numbers yet, but I think my husband is right when he tells me that 'we will just know'.
