Question for you zoo girls. Is Shawarma King still amazingly delicious? The mister and I have been talking about going down to visit some friends and Shawarma King and Big Burrito always come up during the convo. It's been like 7 years since I've had it. I need me a Shish Tawook like you wouldn't believe.

Sorry I am late to the party. I live on the west side of the state. I am 1 hour and 15 minutes from Lansing and 45 minutes from Grand Rapids. I am probably not to far from @babymonster30‌. I grew up in Muskegon. My weekends are currently booked through Easter.

Isn't there an indoor water park in Frakenmuth too? There is an indoor water park at Double J ranch in Rothbury (west side of the state). Also, there is an indoor water park at Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant.

@mamacbear Big Burrito is SO tasty. I need all the food from the zoo. Seriously. An odd little part of me even misses Fourth Coast coffee.

I have been there for the old Rothbury music festival. Beautiful place, but too far for me to travel for a meetup because I drive a gas guzzler.

That's where my sister had her wedding reception, and it's about 10 minutes from my family's lake house.

What? Noooo, Fourth Coast makes the most amazing iced mochas!

Have you guys been to the Kansas City Dipping Grill? It was renamed maybe 5 years ago (if its even still there), but they had a huge menu with like 50 dips. Amazeballs!! I wish it were a chain!!

Also, I was thinking maybe coffee one afternoon...something low key to start? If it goes well we can plan our next family vacations together, lol.

Dang, no one lives in the UP - that's where I grew up and at least always go back in July. My sister does live in central lower Michigan though.
