WTF MIL?!?! Loss mentioned.....

DH's cousin just lost her full term baby a few weeks ago. She went to her 40w appointment and there was no heartbeat. It was her first child. It was obviously a heart-wrenching experience for her and everyone else.

One of MIL's friends saw this cousin at Babies R Us yesterday, presumably returning all of the baby things she no longer needs. MIL was pissed that she didn't return her gift to her if she wasn't going to keep it. She's also pissed that this relative is not responding to her incessant texts asking how she's coping with the loss.

WTAF?! Let the woman grieve! If she's not responding, it's because she doesn't want to talk to you about it, not because she wants you to pester her more. And the gift thing...don't get me started.

WTF self?!  You did not allow enough time to get you and LO ready this morning which led to not eating breakfast and forgetting to bring anything to eat at work!  This is NOT good!!

WTF DH. You worked 6 days last week, including one you were supposed to be off. Now you don't want to go to the kids' science museum like we discussed because you don't feel like it. I know you are tired and I appreciate your sacrifices, but I'm starting to feel like you don't even enjoy doing stuff with us anymore. I know it's not true because you play with the kids and hang out with me, but damn, man. The kids and I are constantly stuck at home when you are at work. We need to get out! And we need family time!!!!!

First off, condolences for your DHs cousin. I can't even imagine. We had this happen to a person close to us and it is GUT wrenching. 

Second off, I will slap the MIL for you, I mean seriously.......I just can't even with this story but just know. I am pretty sure I feel the same way you do.

OK and sometimes the Carters outlet store near me and if not them then Carters.com because I have a slight Carters addiction............Hi my name is Ashlee and I am a shopaholic.....There I admitted it. I also admit to a small baby leggings addiction.......I need help. Oh and headbands/bows for my DDs hair........sadly the list could go on and on.......I need to get back to working to afford all this and maybe if I was working I wouldn't have some much free time to shop. That is logical right there.....right?

WTF CNA that thought it was appropriate to bring a glass with feces in it back to the kitchen to be washed. Seriously? Throw that shit away. My staff shouldn't have to deal with that.

And WTF Dh...no more fire classes when I'm returning to work. It's volunteer. You can take the classes this summer when things have calmed down. Please ask before you sign up for stuff!

WTF people who "pretend" to have a relationship with LO when it's cool, but who really don't.  Our roommate, who is more like a family member, goes by "auntie" to LO, but spends no time with her, has held her twice since she was born, although she has started saying "hi" to her lately or making googly noises to her when she comes out of her room, but that's it.  Then when she has people over, like friends or her bf, she starts talking to LO all cute-like & talking about how she loves her, this, that & the other, even though she never talks to her the rest of the time.  Last night when her friend was over the friend asked "do you ever watch her by yourself?", and the roommate said no, but I wanted to answer for her & say no she never even holds her!  And seriously I don't care if she doesn't want to hold or anything, but it just bugs me when she'll then act like her & LO have a relationship when it's "cool" to do so or will make her look good while people are admiring baby.  I wonder if eventually my feelings on this will come out.

Omg, so sad.  And WTF to your MIL, seriously!  So sad what that girl must be going through.  I can't imagine thinking about gifts knowing someone just lost their baby.

@Cambury108‌ @AlexJohnson840‌ my mother hasn't spent time with her granddaughter in very long time I think she's only seen dd maybe 4 times since she's been born & those are only the times she has felt like it like seeing her. The other times she's seen her has been because I go over to her house

You probably figured it out by now, but I buy frames from TJMaxx/Marshalls all the time and they do this. I put a damp cloth on the glass for a few minutes. It softens the sticker and then you can easily peel it off
