PGD vs CCS?

Maybe I'm the only one who is confused about this, but I'm really not sure I understand the distinctions, particularly in terms of costs. It also seems like most clinics do one but not the other. Has anyone ever been offered the choice? How did you decide? Any other insight in these issues?

My nurse explained to me that CCS is a type of PGS. And she also mentioned that people use the terms interchangeably especially if they have been practicing for a long period of time. PGD is a older term. 

My RE says that we do PGD testing, with comprehensive chromosome screening. And it wasnt until recently that I realized that that's what CCS stood for (uh duh). So my interpretation was not that its one or the other, but rather how in depth is your testing.
