Feedback on names

Hi all! First time posting on this board...hoping your opinions can help sway me. Here are some names we have been thinking about, I'd love to know what you think:

FYI Vassar is the middle name of my dad and brother so that was an easier decision!

Marcus Vassar--my favorite
Eli Vassar
William Vassar
Axl Vassar (ONLY if he is born red head!) it runs on my DH's side...

Personally, I like Eli best. For all that is good in this world, don't do Axl. That is so awful.

Axl, I just can't get behind. So many people use it because they think it sounds cool. Plus we had a dog with this name and everytime we yelled for him it sounded like asshole. I imagine it would be similar on a playground.

I like them in the order you have them listed.  I really like both Marcus and Eli, but Marcus gets my vote.  I don't really like Axl...

Axel is my nephew's name and it suits him. I wouldn't spell it Axl though because then I immediately think of Axl Rose.

Marcus is great. I'd prefer Elijah/Elias to just Eli. And I'd steer clear of William just due to popularity though there's nothing wrong with the name.

This is how I would rank them:

1. William 

2. Eli 

3. Marcus

4. Axl

Ooo, I like them all... except for Axl, actually. But Marcus, William and Eli are all awesome ones! I think... Marcus is my favorite, then Eli, then William just because it's so popular.

This. Just swayed me away from Axl...haha!
