I need a couple new covers, I've been leaning towards some RaR OS covers but only because the only other new covers I've bought are newborn RaR and they never leaked or failed me. I have some used Motherease covers that aren't cute but are functional for the toddler age.
What's your fav OS cover? DS is somewhat chunky in leg and waist. He's close to 15lb so I don't need something that fits too small. I'm hoping to stay economical (hence the OS), but quality is important too since I'm hoping it will last for another baby after DS2.
Re: What's your OS cover for 15lb+?
Blueberry coveralls.
Flips are aight too.
I also like ecobum covers, to keep cost down.
Flips are okay, but I was not impressed with their leg elastic. It stretches out more than other covers and is hard to replace. So maybe not a great choice if you have a chubster and want to use the covers with another LO (especially if that future LO ends up being skinnier). I would definitely not pay full price for them if you decide to go with them.
Blueberry Coverall are very full cut, so nice for bulky overnight diapers, but I sometimes find them too roomy on my 31 lb 2 year old. I prefer the fit of Thirsties Duo size 2 - it's not really marketed as a one size cover, but I find the fit comparable to the Blueberry, except trimmer (but definitely roomy enough for a chunky baby).
