She slammed her pointer finger in the door.... it turned black in seconds....  

I kinda freaked out for a few minutes BUT recovered and settled her down and we are all good, just wondering if this nail will ever recover?

Oh my goodness! Hope she is ok! I did that when I was little and it was black and blue for a week or so and then slowly went back to normal. No owies here lately...knock on wood!

Poor Sammie!
K is rocking a goose egg and scratch on her forehead. She thought it was a good idea to run into the cabinet. Goofy toddlers!

Awe poor Sammie!! Emma decided the other day to try and pick up her cat (because he loves her and protects her all the time) and instead of her picking him up cause he is fat and sassy, she ended up falling over him and tumbling into the door. It was funny to watch her try, but not funny tumbling into the door.

I jammed my finger in the door as a toddler and that nail still has a weird ridge/bump in it.  But the nail does grow and isn't too noticeable.  Just maybe can't be a hand model with that hand

Yeah it sucks! Hope she's better. Last weekend LO took a tumble and split her lip, blood everywhere. It's rough!

Aw, no good!  It seems like all the LOs are having accidents lately.  M had his fingers slammed in the sliding door 2 days ago.  I felt like worst mother of the year since I was literally 2 feet away when I slammed his hand in the door. He screamed for a few minutes, but then was over it.

I pinched my thumb in a metal folding chair when I was about 7.  The nail itself turned black and blue immediately and I ended up losing it, but it grew back. I hope her finger feels better soon!

So sorry about Sammie!  DD fell last night and bumped her head on the coffee table.  Now she has a nice big bruise on the side of her head.  That plus I'm thinking her canine teeth are coming in made for a fun night.
