Rib pain question

So MoMs give it to me straight...does the rib and back pain only get worse through the third trimester?  I am coming up on 30 weeks with di/di twin girls.  Baby B is conveniently located transverse under my ribs and A is resting on my bladder.  Does the rib pain ever get better before they are born?

I had terrible rib and back pain on one side from 22-32 weeks. I was in agony and almost had to stop working. Yes, it did get better, but that was with the help of twice weekly chiropractic visits where they did myofascial release. That chiropractor was a godsend- he had a ton of experience with multiple pregnancies.

I highly recommend finding a chiropractor who's experienced with pregnant women if you're having rib and back pain. Sorry you're dealing with that!

  • I'm 31 weeks now and have had rib and hip pain for about three weeks.  It comes and goes depending on where my girls decide to settle in at.  Usually, changing positions or stretching helps give some relief.

  • My rib pain did not get better until my boys were born. I hope yours goes away!

  • Thank you ladies!  I am going to check out chiropractors this week and try to get back in for an acupuncture treatment.
