When are you due? Technically March 26, but according to a size ultrasound I had, today, March 18.
How are you feeling - physically, emotionally, mentally? Tired, uncomfortable, and ready. And nervous. And like I have to pee.
What is left on your to-do list? How are you filling your time if you are home? Clean the bathroom, and other last minute cleaning. It also seems like there's always something more I need to pick up from Babies-R-Us before LO gets here.
What is the one thing people say about your pregnancy or your time waiting that drives you insane?
Just you wait... This saying is the worst, my husband gets it from people too. It's so annoying and just rude, yea no shit it's going to be rough. I didn't go into this thinking it would be easy and I would get a cute baby doll to play with.
Wait, there's no cute baby doll at the end of all this?!
How are you feeling - physically: like everyone else, my back hurts. Hubs and I went grocery shopping tonight and I just waddled through the aisles with him looking at me adoringly and giggling "you're so cute." I wanted to hit him in the face.
-emotionally: I have my good days and bad days. Today was my 38w appt and we were going to sweep the membranes, so this morning I was scared that I could possibly have an outside baby soon, then the MW told me Cooper's had wasn't low enough to sweep so we'd have to check it out next week and I cried.
- mentally: I so do not have my shit together. My team has no idea which Jekyll or Hyde they're going to get at any moment so they try to catch me with questions all at once when I seem normal and then I can't remember what the hell I was doing or what they needed when the conversation is over.
What is left on your to-do list? - Give birth! That was seriously the only thing when I started reading this thread now I remember that I have to finish the thank you cards from the shower, install the car seat, finish up crap at the office, and other stuff I've already forgotten.
How are you filling your time if you are home? - When I am home I referee between my 9yo and my 16yo and watch TV or read or play Zombie Tsunami... I really wish I had enough leave to take off work now.
What is the one thing people say about your pregnancy or your time waiting that drives you insane? - I guess it's getting harder for me to hear "oh I hadn't seen you so I thought you had the baby." I'm in meetings most of the day most days of the week, you never see me anyway, don't you think you would've heard something? Or "still no baby?" Yeah, no, I totally had her yesterday but I had so much shit to get done that I came in anyway. And finally, "you look huge." Just f@€k you. Other than that though, I'm totally fine with whatever people say
How far along are you? When are you due? 39 weeks today! Due 3/26, but doctor trying to schedule induction before then due to pre-e concerns
How are you feeling - physically, emotionally, mentally? I'm feeling okay physically. I've been getting contractions on and off, but nothing regular. I cleaned the whole house last night and I am definitely hurting today!
Emotionally/mentally I'm alright. I feel ready to get this show on the road and after my flurry of cleaning, there is literally not one thing left that has to happen before baby arrives. I am trying to stay positive through all of the comments from others about when baby is coming, but it's hard!
What is left on your to-do list? How are you filling your time if you are home?
Nothing has to be done, but I'd like to get a haircut and pedicure this week at some point! I'm still working through this week, so my students have definitely kept me busy!
What is the one thing people say about your pregnancy or your time waiting that drives you insane?
Tired of people telling me to sleep. I would if I could! Tired of people telling me I should be on ML already. Thank you, but pretty sure that's a decision between me, DH and my doctor. We got it.
How are you feeling - physically: I always thought I'd be uncomfortable/ungainly by this point, but no one prepped me for the 2 weeks of endless, semi-painful, non-productive contractions. It makes the 'is this the real thing?' mind games worse.
-emotionally: Ups and downs. I'm having a hard time coping with work stress on some days. Trying to stay Zen.
- mentally: Ready to get this show on the road.
What is left on your to-do list? - I need to wrap up a few more items at work this week, and then I'll be 100% ready.
How are you filling your time if you are home? - Still working. On weekends I'm usually pretty nesty though. Lots of cleaning.
What is the one thing people say about your pregnancy or your time waiting that drives you insane? - Stop telling me to enjoy my sleep now. I haven't had more than 4-5 hours of broken sleep punctuated by hours of insomnia in months at this point.
