Cloth Diapering

Kawaii P&N vs FB Small

Anyone know how a Kawaii Pure and Natural would compare with a Fuzzibunz Perfect Size Small? Online the Kawaii says it will fit birth to 22 pounds, but I know a lot of folks say they didn't fit right away. The FB Smalls say they fit 7-18 pounds, but we had some and they didn't fit DS well right away, even though he was 8 pounds at birth. I'm curious to see how they would compare side-by-side (trying to find some pockets to bridge the gap b/n NB and OS diapers).

Re: Kawaii P&N vs FB Small

  • I had some FB and CB XS that fit from when we started with cloth (3 weeks, about 7 lbs). We also used PnN at that time, but only for nighttime, because they were huge. I can see tiny gaps in pictures, but it was never enough to leak while she was sleeping. I know that most people also hate on NB alvas, but with a MF and bamboo insert, I loved them, and they fit longer than other NB diapers. The snaps fit great and the aplix tabs I would twist to make fit until she grew a little.

I can take a pic of the PnN and FB next to each other tomorrow, if you would like.

  • I had the FB xs and they never fit my guys legs (gapped) and they were chunky!

That said, I think the smalls have hip snaps so that might help get a tighter fit.

  • I've never used FB, but our PNs fit from birth (low of 7 lbs 12oz) and still fit now at about 20.5 lbs.
