Is Margot dated?

We are finding out what we are having next week but I have been working on a list of names for both genders. I'm having a hard time coming up with names for girls that haven't been already rejected by DH when I was pregnant with DD. I really like Margot nn Maggie but am wondering if it sounds dated. If so, any other suggestions? Thanks!

I don't know that it's dated. It just has an unnattractive sound to me. I love Margaret or Magnolia though.

I freaking love Margot and don't think it's dated at all. She was one of the girls in the Despicable Me movies, I think. That makes it NOT dated.

I LOVE Margot. I wouldn't call it "dated" but definitely vintage. "Dated" names to me are names like Ashley and Jennifer. I've always thought Margot was such a classy name.

NOOOOOO!  It's classic and classy, and I love it.  If I were to ever have a girl, Margaret with nickname Margo(t) is my top choice.

I love Margaux but prefer it spelled this way.  Not dated at all.
